GOVERNOR’S
CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
Following is the text of the condolence message sent by His
Excellency Shri Surjit Singh Barnala, Governor of Tamil Nadu to
Smt. Suraj Kanwar, W/o Late Shri. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat,
Former Vice-President of India.
“I am deeply
shocked and grieved to hear about the sudden demise of your
husband Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Former Vice-President of India.
He was an able administrator known for his
simplicity and had dedicated himself for the cause of the poor
and downtrodden. As affectionately called “Bhairon Baba” has
left an indelible mark. His death is an irreparable loss to the
nation and to Rajasthan in particular.
I convey my
sincere condolences to you and to the bereaved members of the
family”.
