02 Feb 2007	The NCC Cadets from Tamil Nadu who participated in the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi were hosted Tea at Raj Bhavan, Chennai today (02.02.2007) evening. They shared their experience with His Excellency Shri Surjit Singh Barnala, Governor of Tamil Nadu. Commodore U N Chitnavis, Dy.Director General, NCC and other Officers of NCC were present.
10 Feb 2007	His Excellency the Prime Minister of Italy Mr. Romano Prodi met His Excellency Sardar Surjit Singh Barnala, Governor of Tamil Nadu at Raj Bhavan, Chennai today(10.02.2007). The Governor presented a shawl and a Nataraja statue to the Prime Minister of Italy and a shawl and a memento to Mrs Flavia Franzoni, wife of the Prime Minister. His Excellency the Governor hosted a Dinner in Honour of His Excellency the Prime Minister of Italy and the delegates at Raj Bhavan.

13 Feb 2007	The receipents of the Indira Gandhi National NSS Award for the Year 2005-06 of Tamil Nadu called on H.E. Thiru Surjit Singh Barnala, Governor of Tamil Nadu at Raj Bhavan, Chennai today (13.02.2007).Dr.V.Seetharaman, Programme Co-ordinator, NSS Directorate of Technical Education who received the Best University/Directorate Award got the blessings of the Governor.

22 Feb 2007	His Excellency the Governor of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the Exhibition of Paintings by Trilo Pal on "Man's Relationship with Nature" at Sir C.P.R.Art Centre, Chennai and went round the exhibition.

	His Excellency Shri Surjit Singh Barnala Governor of Tamil Nadu delieverd the Special Address at the 28th Convation & 115th College Day of the Madras Christian College. His Excellency the President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam presented Awards of Special Prizes to the students.
	His Excellency Shri Surjit Singh Barnala Governor of Tamil Nadu delieverd the Presidential Address at the International Conference on Signal Processing Communications and Networking at Madras Institute of Technology, Chrompet, Chennai on 23.02.2007.His Excellency the President of India Dr. A.P.J.
